Today is MD-80 Retirement Day for American Airlines and I’m putting a few of my favorite MD-80 images on sale.

I’ve been able to take some cool images of the MD-80 recently and I figured there was enough demand to make some prints.  I’d like to also raise some money for a good cause at the same time.  If you want to skip all the formalities and just go to the store, click here.

Here are the three images.

the cockpit of an airplane

an airplane on a runway

an airplane flying over a runway

I’m offering a variety of pricing levels for each print and the large majority will be printed directly onto a sheet of aluminum, which gives it almost a 3D feel to the image and comes ready to hang (so you don’t have to worry about costly framing)!  There are limited edition prints, some of which are absolutely massive (in case you have a spare wall at your house or office).

The Good Cause

There’s a 16×20″ version of each picture available for $180.  All profits from the sale of these prints will go directly to the Airpower Foundation, which supports active duty, reserve and National Guard families.  Many of you know of the Airpower Foundation through its annual SkyBall fundraiser, which I personally have supported for many years.
