If you’ve ever flown Southwest into Love Field in Dallas, you’ve seen Bachman Lake. It sits on the north side of the airport and is another peaceful oasis (along with White Rock Lake) in the urban sprawl of Dallas.
I went out there Saturday morning after an exhausting two weeks in New York City, ready to be away from horns honking, rain, and a really stressful two week client project. I found it very peaceful and serene like I hoped.
This week you all are getting two videos: how I took the shot while I was out at the lake and then how I edited the shot in Adobe Lightroom 5. Enjoy!
UPDATE: I’m going to try this to see if there’s any interest. I’m willing to send you the raw file if you’d like to follow along. Shoot me an email at [theblogname] at gmail dot com and I’ll send you a link to it.
Nice video Andy. Really picked up some tips with Lightroom while watching (I have been having troubles adjusting from Aperture) and this inspired me to try again. Thanks!
Awesome photo and videos! I’ve never attempted to edit pictures, but I think I might try.
