You can now link your American Airlines AAdvantage and US Airways Dividend Miles accounts. It’s part of the long-term plan for integrating the two airlines IT systems under the American banner, and it’s finally possible. No word yet on the ability to redeem the miles on one another’s airlines quite yet, but we know it’ll definitely happen in March 2016, if not earlier.
Here’s how to link your accounts: log into your AAdvantage account. It’s that easy. When you log in, this window will pop up.
Type in your Dividend Miles number and that’s it. You’re linked. As the window states, nothing will change right now, but it’s great to see that they’re moving closer together with the IT integration.
UPDATE: It took a matter of minutes before I received email confirmation, looks like they got this rollout right!
Thanks. Worked for me.

I’m pretty sure I know what you meant and that you already know this, but for clarity, the above as written is not correct. You can already redeem the miles on one another’s airlines as the oneworld integration is complete, you just can’t use AA miles on US’s booking engine and vice versa.
