It’s raining in Dallas today and looks kind of miserable, so I thought there would be no better time to share with you some of my favorite images from my 51 hour way-too-ambitious road-trip from Copenhagen to the Atlantic Road in northwestern Norway. There’s a great story that I’m in the process of writing up, but I’ll give you a sneak peek with some of the images.
Norway has some amazing roads through some of the most beautiful landscapes you will ever see. These pictures are literally from the side of the road, I would pull my rental car (a sweet Nissan Qashqai) over, pull out the ol’ camera, and snap away. Many of these are also panoramic shots, where I would take a series of pictures and stitch them together later to make one massive image (a few of these are over 200 megapixels!)
I wish I could point out to you on a map where most of these places were, but I simply do not know! Anyways, enjoy!
Awesome photos, Andy! Really, really beautiful stuff. I love seeing scenes of nature like this – really highlights some of the beautiful parts of our world.
BTW, any plans to head to Torres del Paine at some point? I would love to see what you could do there. It is one of the most beautiful places I have been.
I may actually head down there next month!
If you took the pictures with your camera hidden in the digital information will be GPS coordinates.
Wow, you got some really nice photos here! I am happy to read that you enjoyed Norway! Nice blog 🙂
