I spent today in Manhattan (came in on the PATH train while doing some work in Newark) and went to see a show on Broadway. On my way back to Newark (yay!) I stopped at the World Trade Center to see the new tower at night. The memorial pools were closed off so I couldn’t see them but ended up getting this shot of the new Liberty Tower with the transit center below. The spire atop the tower still displays the colors of the French flag to memorialize those who were killed a few days ago by terrorists.
For the photographers: This one used my standard Lightroom workflow. Since I didn’t have my tripod with me I propped the camera up on a ledge so I could keep the ISO at 100. Ended up at f4, ISO 100, and it was a 3.2 second exposure.
