Just a PSA for everyone who has an account with Hyatt Gold Passport. They Hyatt Gold Passport program will be offline for four days, December 15-18. This means you will not be able to redeem awards, search availability, or even check your account status. Any stays during the period will not be reflected until later this month.
This means if you want to look at making some award bookings (like at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek below) this week, go ahead and look today!
I do question Hyatt’s decision to perform this maintenance during a high-traffic time like December, but who knows the underlying problem. Four entire days is a long time. Maybe it’s justified, I don’t know. I’m not an IT expert.

What I’m hoping we don’t see are sudden changes to the program and will keep my eyes out for exactly that when everything comes back up.
Andy, I know you have familirity with implementations already, but from an IT project management standpoint, I cannot fathom the project they’re doing that deemed it acceptable to take this offline for three days. This is inexplicable to me.
