I have loved my Sony a7. It’s my first “prosumer” level camera and it’s taken some of my best pictures. It’s seen 4 continents and I think 30+ countries. Looking back at some pictures this morning I saw my photography move from jpgs to raws to HDR to over-vibrance to now what I consider to be a pretty good photography skillset.
Why am I getting so sentimental? I’m selling my a7. I want to get another camera that’s a touch smaller than the a7 to have as a backup for my a7rII. I’m sad to see the a7 go but wanted to use my macro lens and take some good dramatic photos of the a7 before sending it off to a new home. Enjoy!
How much and where are u selling it?what u getting for the backup? Point and shoot or apsc?
I’m looking for about a grand for it (with the kit lens). Going with (most likely) an a6300 as backup, although an RX100 IV is probably coming sooner or later as well
The end of an era… but the ushering in of a new era at the same time. I will likely be doing the same with my A7R once I get back in the US long enough to pick up the A7RII.
