Hong Kong is one of my favorite cities in the world. It’s a lively intersection of the East and the West and is a wonderful gateway to the rest of Asia for those heading that direction.
I realized last week that it had been almost a year since I had graced the lovely shores promenades of Victoria Harbour so I decided to take a sudden and quick trip for Easter weekend. Stay tuned for some awesome content from the trip, you’ll definitely want to see how I got from the airport to my hotel!
In the meantime, though, I’d like to show you some pictures I took from above Hong Kong. I’ll leave the means of photography ambiguous since many would just lecture me about flying my drone against stated regulations rather just enjoy the pictures anyway right? I love the top-down perspective, especially in a city like Hong Kong which has so many skyscrapers. Enjoy!

WOW! Amazing shots Andy.
#1 is my favorite. Good symmetry and focal point. Then #2. Pretty high for a drone. Don’t know if I would be comfortable watching my $1G+ investment up there in a metro.
Amazing pics Andy! I always find aerial photos quite fascinating. Just wondering can we fly drones over city and is there any laws we need to adhere to. I am planning to buy a drone but don’t know if its legal to fly those.
Hi Andy, for these pictures, may i know where you flew it from?
