Ok so it’s no secret that I love taking pictures of the Qantas A380 that lands at DFW every day. It’s been featured as Picture of the Week at least 3 times that I can remember, and each of those times I told you, in extreme detail, about how I shot it. This week will not be one of those weeks, as this picture is part of a bigger article that will be coming over the next couple of weeks with some mind-blowing pictures, some of my absolute best.
This one will have to do for now. It’s the mighty A380 coming in for landing from a perspective nobody has ever seen before above DFW. You can see DFW’s Terminal B in the background with assorted regional jets awaiting their passengers and even a SkyLink train making a stop on the track above the concourse.
Please note that I did not use a drone for this shot, our flight plan and location were approved by DFW Tower and we were in constant communication with them the entire time.
So consider this an appetizer to one heck of a main course. Qantas 7 Heavy, cleared to land runway 18 right!
For the photographers: Don’t mean to leave you hanging here, but it’ll all be made clear soon enough 🙂
