Picture of the Week: Enjoying Memorial Day with a Steak!
Hi everyone! Things are about to pick up in a serious way here on the blog so today I’m relaxing. The last Monday of May is when the USA celebrates Memorial Day, a day set aside to celebrate and remember those who have given their lives in service to their country. Things have been a little nuts lately so I’m grateful for the respite from everything. Now I know most of my pictures of the week are landscape/cityscapes, but I also like food photography, particularly steak photography. Granted I always get some weird looks from neighbors when I set a cutting board on the trellis of my balcony and take a picture of it with a palm tree in the background, but that’s the price you pay, right?

Picture of the Week: Vernazza, Italy
Want to see more pictures of the week? Check out the archive! The Cinque Terre in Italy is simply amazing. As I gushed about in my post late last week, I went to Vernazza to take some epic pictures and actually ended up with a new all-time favorite....My New Favorite Picture of All-Time!
I was in Europe for about 10 days over the past couple of weeks for a mixture of work and play. As part of my photography habit I end up perusing through various sites and blogs and kept seeing the same place popping up over and over again. It was a beautiful iconic picture and I just knew I had to have it in my portfolio. When my work in Europe was done I had my chance to take it.
Pictures of the Week from my trip to Europe!
Hello from London! I’ve been in Paris and London on a last-minute trip to support one of our business lines here. It’s been a great trip and although I haven’t had very much time to take photographs I’ve managed to grab a couple I’m proud of. So, with apologies for the delay, here are last week’s pictures of the week!
Picture of the Week: Springtime in New York
Spring has sprung in New York City, where I’ve been all weekend. In the past week the flora and fauna of Central Park have exploded in a beautiful symphony of color and smell that has left at least one travel blogger named Andy in awe. It was all I could do to turn my camera and lens towards a familiar scene.
