Hi everyone! This week’s picture of the week is from the Hyatt Regency in Phuket. It was immaculately decorated and made for some great photos. What I’ve also done is made another Lightroom editing tutorial for all of you photography enthusiasts out there. Video will be below (you’ll be amazed how this image looked straight out of the camera!). Enjoy!
For the photographers: Not going to go into great detail for you today because I made a video showing you how it’s done! See below and enjoy!
This was very helpful, thanks! Seems like we have a similar workflow, but there are a few things that I wasn’t doing optimally based on the video.
Great tutorial. One question I have is whether lightroom is only available as a subscription…
You can purchase the software as well, usually runs $150. The reason I like the subscription is you also get Photoshop in the $10/month
Thanks. I wouldn’t know what to do with Photoshop, so buying the software outright would make more sense for me.
Do you think I can still reasonably edit jpgs, or is that a lost cause (pun intended) ;)?
You can still reasonably edit them but you’ll always lose a little bit each time you make an edit.
Perfect. I didn’t shoot past pictures in raw because I didn’t have the software to edit them. Sounds like I can still edit them for effect. I am shooting with a Sony a5000, so decent picture quality on fine setting.
Andy. I took the plunge. Well worth it after a couple of hours of playing with it and watching your tutorials. Next up is for me to shoot raw and jpg.
That’s great! Let me know if you ever have any questions!
