The sunrises have been great over Dallas lately! The winter brings the angle of the sun nice and low, making for some vibrant colors and soft light. The other morning I couldn’t sleep so I went out to the Sylvan Avenue Bridge over the Trinity River for some shots of downtown Dallas. I ended up trying to shoot a timelapse, which was tough because it was 37 degrees and I had a light jacket on, and was especially tough because the timelapse didn’t turn out very well 🙁
Anyway, here’s this week’s Picture of the Week, Sunrise over Dallas!
For the photographers: This was shot at f4, ISO 100 for 4 seconds of exposure with my Sony a7rII and my 16-35mm wide angle lens at 35mm. Processed in Lightroom then threw it into Photoshop and Nik Color Efex Pro 4 for some contrast and a glow effect called Indian Summer that I thought enhanced the image a bit.
Looking good!
Just wait until tomorrow my friend!
Gorgeous! I love my city!
