For whatever reason I always end up on the road for the US Labor Day Holiday weekend. Four years ago I was in New Zealand, three years ago Machu Picchu, two years ago southern Arizona, and last year St. Thomas.

Man, as a random aside I’m so lucky to have that kind of trip list, I don’t ever want to lose sight of that.

But anyway, back to this trip.  I’m writing this post from the American Express Centurion Lounge at DFW Airport until I board a flight down south in a few hours.  Way south.

How far south?  Well, the southernmost city in the Western Hemisphere.  I’m heading to Patagonia!

I’ve wanted to go to Torres del Paine National Park for a long time and, thanks to Citi ThankYou points, am getting to go there for much cheaper than I ever imagined.  It’s a bit of a quick trip but longer than my typical trips, thank goodness.  Along the way I’m giving the Apple AirPods a full test, as I took a big risk and left my Bose QC35s at home for this trip.

I’m really excited and can’t wait to tell you all about it!  Hopefully great pictures coming soon!
