I’ve taken pics of plenty of Christmas trees for this feature before but wanted to add another one to the list! Dallas’s Klyde Warren Park has a super colorful tree in the middle of the immensely popular park. I wanted to get some shots of it but knew there would be some crowds to navigate. What was the solution? Time. I sat there with my camera on a tripod and took about 50 pictures until I had enough clean ones to join everything together to create a beautiful image for this week’s Picture of the Week!
For the photographers: I took this with my Fuji GFX 50s and the Canon 24mm tilt-shift lens (via the Techart adapter). It took quite a while to sort through the exposures but eventually I was able to assemble everything together to where there was just the one couple in front of the tree (I clone-stamped out the rest of the people). As always, please let me know if you have questions in the comments below!
