Hyatt and American Airlines announced a great new loyalty collaboration today, and it’s already live! If you check your AAdvantage-linked email account you’ll probably see the communication from American already, but the program sounds great.
Reciprocal Benefits
When staying at Hyatt hotels, American Airlines AAdvantage members will receive bonus miles on qualifying Hyatt stays and World of Hyatt elite members will earn bonus points on qualifying American Airlines flights.
Additionally, and this is why you need to check your AAdvantage email account, upper-tier status holders with American Airlines and World of Hyatt will have opportunities for limited-time status offers…starting today! I’m currently AAdvantage Platinum and was offered a challenge to Explorist status with Hyatt. I receive Explorist benefits and need only 10 qualifying stays to keep it through next year.
Overall a net win for everyone
Hyatt is expanding their portfolio quickly and adding hotels at a feverish pace, and American Airlines is the largest airline in the world. A program like this makes a ton of sense for both companies and, as I’m a little biased towards Hyatt, I’m very excited about the new program!
You can visit www.worldofhyatt.com/aa or check your AAdvantage-linked email account for more information!
Currently discoveries
Will be explorist by June and will be globalist by august.
Should I wait to link accounts to maybe get an AA fast track offer to elite?
Or do these offer show up if u link….then achieve these statuses?
