5 Pictures: My Favorites from New York City

The Big Apple. NYC. HONKHONKHEYWATCHWHEREYOUREGOING. By whatever name you know it, New York City is iconic. With epic skyscrapers framing legendary Broadway and incredible Central Park, there’s something to see for everyone.

My job requires fairly frequent travel to New York City, so I’ve gotten to know it pretty well over the years. While visiting for the first time can be overwhelming, you get used to the pace of life there pretty quickly and it’s surprisingly easy to navigate. As my interest in photography has grown, the sights of New York City have frequently found themselves in front of my lens, so let’s check out my five favorite pictures of New York City!

A quick post to say Thank You!

A quick post to say Thank You!

Happy November! In Dallas we are still waiting for autumn weather but the unbearable heat has departed south for the year so it’s quite nice at the moment. Last night was Halloween so all manner of monster and superhero scoured neighborhoods in search of the mythical House With Full-Size Snickers. If this was you and your little ones were said monsters and superheroes I hope the haul was bountiful and Snickers aplenty.

As hearts and minds begin looking towards the Holiday Season we typically skip right to Christmas, and indeed most department stores are already hawking their yearly dole of green and red. But the US Thanksgiving holiday is a good reminder for all of us to slow down and be thankful for what we have and what we’ve accomplished.

Cathay Pacific First Class: What It’s Really Like

Cathay Pacific First Class: What It’s Really Like

Cathay Pacific is a Hong Kong-based airline with a sterling reputation for world-class service. They serve a wide variety of markets and have long been a stalwart of nonstop flights between Hong Kong and the United States. Cathay Pacific First Class is one of the “aspirational” First Class cabins, one that people save up their miles to fly, and with good reason. I’ve been lucky enough to fly them in First Class four separate times so I’m fairly well-qualified to tell you what it’s like. So sit back, pour yourself some Krug champagne, and take a look at the full experience of flying Cathay Pacific First Class!

5 Pictures: My Best Pictures of Singapore

5 Pictures: My Best Pictures of Singapore

Singapore has an interesting reputation. It’s safe, politically stable, and everyone seems to get along despite being a melting pot of so many different cultures. It boasts some of the best architecture in the entire world and its skyline boasts numerous noteworthy skyscrapers. But there are some negatives too: some say that the culture errs on the side of non-offensive to such a degree that it’s almost boring at times. Others say that whereas a city like Hong Kong is modern yet very much Asian, Singapore could be dropped anywhere in the world an no one would really notice. Plus it’s massively humid for pretty much the entire year, sitting just 80 miles north of the equator. Having spent quite a bit of time in Singapore this year I managed to snag some wonderful images, let’s run through my five favorites!
